| The 23rd Psalm for Soldiers | ||||||||||||
| The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not fear. He keepeth me from lying down when I should be patrolling: He leadeth me to the supply tank when I need water. He restoreth my faith in my superiors: He makes me a better soldier for my country's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of discouragement, He restoreth my confidence: for thou art with me. My prayers and my comrades, they comfort me; Thou preparest a mess kit before me in the presence of mine enemies: Thou annointest my head with a strong helmet; My ammunitions runneth over. Surely spiders and flies shall not follow me all the days of my tour: And I shall not dwell in this foreign land forever. Amen |
